An August fundraising event has enabled us to purchase six additional computers for the computer lab. We are grateful to the Jericho Sunrise Rotary Club, a local Rotary chapter on Long Island, New York for the funds raised.
Organized by the President of Club, Meenu Maheshwari and her team, the event included a morning outdoor Yoga session and a healthy breakfast prepared by the members of the club. Our founder, Mrs. Asha Soni along with Anu Dhir, our Educational consultant were delighted to attend.
The event was a success! The morning yoga session and breakfast were enjoyable and the attendees were pleased to meet with Mrs. Soni and to learn more about the work going on at our site in Barapur, India.
Through the generosity of the Jericho Sunrise Rotary Club we have added six additional computers to the computer lab on-site and are excited to know the increase in accessible education that will come as a result.
